A nice Friday morning across the area. We have a mostly clear sky with temperatures in the 70s, and a light breeze.
TODAY: High near 94, another hot and mostly sunny day. The south wind will stick around through the day 12-20mph.
WEEKEND: Highs cooler in the upper 80s. Saturday likely staying dry, but the chance for storms increasing late Saturday and into Sunday. Storms will be better for the western half of the area first, then shifting east.
If you are heading to Omaha, NE for the Texas Tech Baseball game. It's going to be hot with highs in the mid 90s with a slight chance for storms.
NEXT WEEK: Moisture will stay across the area with a chance for storms through the week. There will be breaks in the rain for some hours, then activity will increase again.
