1 dead, 1 seriously injured following rollover in Scurry County

SNYDER, Texas -

Texas DPS reports one is dead and another is seriously hurt after a crash in Scurry County Monday morning.

A woman driving south on US 84 veered left into the median. Her vehicle lost a tire, rolled several times, and landed in the northbound lanes. It came to a rest in a ditch.

Delfina Diaz Guardado, 52, of Amarillo, died at the hospital. Her passenger, Cristina Guardado, 25, of Amarillo was taken to UMC with serious injuries.

The pair were both wearing seatbelts.
