THIS AFTERNOON: There have been a few showers pop up east of US 83 just east of our area. And a few storms have turned severe well southwest of here, in the Trans-Pecos region of West Texas. Across our area it's just mainly sunny and warm.
TONIGHT: Low near 67, S/SW wind 5-15mph.
HOT PATTERN: We can't rule out an isolated storm next few days, but it's a much lower chance than we've seen this week. The main theme will be lots of sun and much hotter days.
It'll be up around 98 to 102 pretty much each day this weekend and through next week. A big upper-level ridge will be somewhere in or close to the region, leading to the hot and dry weather.
Have a great rest of your day. Bobby will have a full update to the forecast early tomorrow.
