Happy first day of May! Here are some changes through the month and records.
We have the moisture in place this morning with the cloudy sky. Temperatures are mild in the 60s with a light breeze from the South.
TODAY: Partly to mostly sunny and breezy. High near 90, southwest wind 15-25mph. The moisture will move east today and with the dry air in place, fire concerns return. Red Flag Warning in place from noon to 9pm.
Tonight: Low near 63, becoming mostly cloudy with moisture returning.
RAIN CHANCES: Some light showers possible early Wednesday morning. Moisture will push east Wednesday afternoon, then returning into the Rolling Plains overnight. A cold front will bring a chance for storms for the southeastern area early Thursday morning. Then chances will end.
EXTENDED: Temperatures will drop to the upper 70s by Friday. A nice weekend with a sunny sky, light wind, and lots of sun.
