We had a break from the wind today, but the wind picks up again tomorrow. As a result, another **RED FLAG WARNING** will be in place. A reminder to be cautious with cigarette butts, machinery in tall grass, and anything that could cause a spark.
Tonight, temperatures are more mild as they drop to about 43 degrees under clear skies and light winds out of the south.
Tomorrow, expect winds to pick up by the afternoon out of the southwest near 25-30mph. We'll remain sunny with a high of 86 degrees.
Winds and temperatures increase into Tuesday, before finally sliding down a bit into Wednesday. Beyond that, it looks like we may finally see a chance for some rain Friday, trickling a bit into Saturday.
I'll be back tonight for the News at Nine and Bobby tomorrow morning for Good Day Lubbock!
