A **RED FLAG WARNING** continues until 9 p.m. Saturday night, and a **FREEZE WARNING** will be in effect from 1 a.m. until 9 a.m. Sunday morning.
Tonight will be chillier, but the winds will be substantially calmer. Expect a low for Lubbock near 32, with colder areas toward the northwest under clear skies.
Tomorrow, a little warmer with a high of 71 and light NW winds shifting SW later in the day. The sun continues and we stay fairly sunny into the week with temperatures climbing back into the upper 80s. As we approach next weekend however, the forecast is looking more favorable for some showers as a system is expected to cross the area.
Tonight will be the coldest of the next 7 days. Catch the latest forecast tonight on the News at Nine, and I'll be back tomorrow!
