Members of Walk and Bike Lubbock are holding public information meetings discussing what you want for pedestrian infrastructure in the greater Lubbock region.
Project manager Jeff Whitacre says this covers improvement projects like bike lanes and pedestrian crossings.
"Not only projects, but kind of policy things and an educational campaign, maybe one of the recommendations out of the project," Whitacre said. "This is just a plan to figure out how to create a safer walk and bike Lubbock. One of the recommendations could be an educational campaign."
Another public hearing is planned for some time between July and September.
