Grand jurors won't charge Littlefield officer who shot, killed suspect

The grand jury in Lamb County will not pursue charges against a Littlefield officer who shot and killed a suspect who was running from officers.

In a special session, grand jurors no-bill Sgt. Steven Farley of any criminal wrongdoing.

Angel Uolla, 18, was killed after he went into a community center and knifed several victims.

When officers arrived he ran to nearby Laguna Park and refused to drop his weapon.

After Sgt. Farley shot him, Uolla died at the hospital.

As for the victims, 75-year-old Norma Jean Bartley stabbed more than 20 times. Oneida Lopez, 38, had multiple wounds to her chest.

And 18-year-old Omar Flores suffered a cut on the back of his neck.

There's been no update on their conditions.
