UPDATED: Littlefield Police identify suspect killed by officers

LITTLEFIELD, Texas -

Littlefield Police shot and killed a stabbing suspect who threatened officers Wednesday morning.

According to the Littlefield PD and Texas DPS, Angel Uolla, 18, stabbed three people at Our Place Community Center. Police say Uolla was a student working on his GED at the Center.

The suspect ran away. Responding officers found Uolla a few blocks away, still armed, in the 300 block of Westside Avenue. According to the DPS, the suspect refused multiple commands to drop the knife. A Littlefield officer shot the suspect. He died at the hospital. 

Victims have been identified as: Norma Jean Bartley, 75; Oneida Lopez, 38; Omar Flores, 18. Bartley and Lopez were stabbed multiple times, Flores was cut on the back of his neck. 

The three victims are recovering at UMC in Lubbock. A representative from the hospital would not release information on their condition.

The Texas Rangers are investigating, which is standard protocol. 

Littlefield is about 35 miles northwest of Lubbock.
