Police are investigating after a woman reported she was held against her will and threatened by her boyfriend.

The victim told police she was on her way to work when Adebayo Abdul Isola, 30, jumped in her car and forced her to drive around, according to a search warrant. She told police he then held her at the America's Best Value Inn, where he allegedly threatened to rape her and kill her family.

According to court documents, Isola took the woman's phone and purse and kept her at the motel Jan. 4 and into the next day.

The woman told police she was able to escape when Isola took her to meet up with another woman to collect mail from her mailbox on Parkway Drive. She says she jumped out of the car when he was distracted and ran inside the Fountain of Life to call 911.

When police arrived, Isola was gone.

Investigators were able to ping the victim's phone, which was reportedly in possession of the suspect, to Clovis, New Mexico, where Isola was located and arrested.

Court documents indicate authorities in Clovis executed a search warrant and found drugs along with a Wells Fargo deposit slip for $245,000 in Isoloa's vehicle.

The $245,000 was deposited into an account belonging to Tesla Motor Corporation at a Lubbock Wells Fargo, the search warrant states.

Wells Fargo advised investigators the account is used by Telsa to allow customers to deposit money prior to the company beginning construction on their vehicles.

According to the search warrant, Isola has a history of drug and family violence arrests.
