Power & gas crews working to restore services after crash

Posted: Updated:

Power and natural gas crews are working to restore services after a suspect reportedly attempting to flee law enforcement crashed in central Lubbock.

The short pursuit ended when the suspect's vehicle crashed near 35th and Avenue N, hitting a utility pole and a gas meter.

Atmos reports its closed the leak, but it'll have to wait for LP&L to finish its work before the gas repairs can start.

The crash tore power lines away from some customers properties. Those will have to be repaired privately.

Valentino Robles, Jr., 33, was arrested. No charges have been listed yet.
