THIS AFTERNOON: It's another sunny day across West Texas, with the temperature in the 50s and lower 60s. Unfortunately, we still don't see any good sign of rain or snow here. And it's needed.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear, low near 30. Wind SW/W 5-15mph.
WINDY AND MILD: Tuesday the SW/W wind will kick up 15-28mph with some higher gusts. High temp near 69. The wildfire risk will be high.
The wind will stay breezy Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. The wind may be slightly weaker Wednesday afternoon than Tuesday. But it's also going to get warmer, again leading to a high wildfire risk.
NEXT FEW DAYS: A front will move through Wednesday night into Thursday morning, dropping the high back into the mid 50s Thursday.
At this point Saturday should be mild and breezy, though there is a pretty wide discrepancy on when the next cold front will move through our area. For now we expect it Saturday night, with Sunday turning colder. But the confidence in Sunday's forecast is low, since we're seeing such a wide range in temperature solutions. Unfortunately, it's dry either way.
Have a great rest of your day. Whitney will have a full update to the forecast here early tomorrow.
