June 22nd
Summer Showcase Concerts at Buddy Holly located at 1801 Crickets Ave.  Concerts start at 5:30pm – 7:30pm Mariachi Mexico Lindo plays traditional Mariachi.

June 22nd
Sock Hop at the Holly Hop Ice Cream Shoppe located at 3404 34th from 7-10pm.  Come dressed in your 50’s attire. Admission is free.

June 22, 23, 24, 25th
Critterfest 2017 will be taking place at the Science Spectrum Museum located at 2579 S. Loop 289 from 10am – 6pm daily.  Children $10 Adults $12.50.

June 24 & 24th
Rummage Sale taking place at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church from 9am – 6pm. 3111 Erskine St.

June 23rd25th
Our friends to the West of us in Morton will be hosting their 14th Annual Texas Last Frontier Heritage Celebration.  FM1780, Morton, Texas  Friday they will fire up their cookers for a Brisket Cook off.  Saturday will begin with a parade followed by a Buffalo Soldier and Native American history and lots of activities and Sunday morning a community worship service in the park.

June 24th
Lubbock Downtown Farmers Market each Saturday from 9am – 1pm.  You will find local produce, meat, dairy, cheese, baked goods and arts.

June 24th
National Ranching Heritage Center present Ranch Host Saturday from 10am – 1pm   Hosts will be dressed in period clothing and will be available to answer questions and share information.

June 24th
Lubbock Memorial Arboretum Foundation and the Lubbock Municipal Garden and Arts Center will host its 6th Annual Butterfly Release on Saturday from 5-7pm.  Free and open to public. 4111 University Ave.

June 24th
The Office of International Affairs at Texas Tech presents the Summer Dance Series 2017 for a fun evening of Contra Dancing (English, Scottish, French folk dancing).  There will be a live band and an instructor to teach the basic dance steps.  This is the first of a three events.  Admission is free from 7pm – 9pm.  Cultural Center of Texas Tech University 601 Indiana Ave.   (July 8th – Tango, July 22n Irish Set Dancing)
